Olayide Sulaiman Agodirin is a Professor in the Department of Surgery and a Consultant General Surgeon at the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. With 14 years of experience in university teaching, research, and administration, he has established himself as a leader in his field.

Professor Agodirin is a former Coordinator of the Clinical Skills and Simulation Laboratory and he as served as the Coordinator of Research at the Institute of Medical Research and Training. His expertise lies in general and laparoscopic surgery, with a special interest in oncology and breast pathologies.

He has authored over 100 publications in reputable journals, edited conference proceedings, and contributed chapters to various books. Additionally, he has successfully supervised numerous fellows in both the National and West African postgraduate medical colleges and has pioneered two innovative surgical techniques for breast procedures. Professor Agodirin has also received several research grants to support his work.

As a member of multiple professional organizations, he is certified in Machine Learning and Data Analysis, further enhancing his contributions to medical research.
